Chi Lewis-Parry is a professional mixed martial artist and Heavyweight champion, he also competes in K1 and he’s Ranked number 6 in the world. Chi holds a professional record of 6 wins 0 losses in MMA and 8 wins with only 1 defeat in K1. Chi is an all-star athlete having a successful career as a professional  basketball player in the BBL and has been making his mark on the MMA and Kickboxing world for the last 4 years.   At the beginning of January 2014 Chi signed a lucrative deal with ONE FC.  In March of the same year ONE FC announced him as their newest heavyweight and talk speculated he is expected to go straight to the top.  Fast forward time a year later to February 2015 and not only did Chi positioned himself as the number 1 contender in the heavy weight division for the One Championship world title, he has also signed another lucrative deal to fight for the Premier Kickboxing organisation in the world, Glory World Series.  Just over one month later, April 3rd in Dubai, Chi scored the fastest Knock out in Glory history where he finished his opponent Young Su Park in just 25 seconds and has exploded onto the combat sports scene as one of the top athletes in the world in both MMA and Kickboxing.

Chi is an all-star athlete, where he began his basketball career at the age of 11 winning National League titles with the London Towers.  Since then he went on to be a professional player, playing for London, Guildford and Glasgow where he won three finalist trophies.  Nike created their ‘Midnight Madness’ competition where top players from around the UK were selected to play against the top team in America.  Chi was selected in the top 10 two years in a row traveling to Miami, Florida and Los Angeles, California.  After his success with the Midnight Madness tour, Chi was invited to work with NBA’s Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers, where despite his huge success he decided to return home to the UK.

In 2011 Chi made the move to dabble professionally in the fight world. His debut was a K-1 bout where he defeated local favourite Ian Hawkins. He went on to fight on Britain’s popular fight show, UCMMA where he defeated Ollie Beard in his first professional MMA bout.  This performance caught the attention of one of the top management companies Mogul Fight Management who since then continue to work with Chi.  The next bout was against the man mountain and vastly more experienced Tomasz Czerwinski where Chi took the UCMMA K-1 belt and still holds the Heavyweight Title now.  Chi then focused on his MMA career knowing that would take him to the big leagues defeating Nikki Kent, Dave Gregory, Arkadius Dorocki and Stephen Lambert.   At the beginning of 2013 Chi was invited to join Alistair Overeem in preparation for his upcoming bout in the UFC. Training commenced in Amsterdam for a number of weeks and a proud performance saw Chi formally invited to join the prestigious super fight team, ‘The Blackzillians’ in Miami, FL. Ultimately Chi decided to stay in the UK for his training camps with his then head coach (danny Brennan) forging the way and maintaining his unblemished 11-0 professional fight record.

After a big win at Glory 20 in Dubai, Chi is focused on his next MMA fight with Asia’s top fight organization, ONE Championship, he is a fan favourite of the Heavyweight Division.  His strong athleticism and his knockout power makes him a formidable force and after his last fight which was a first round KO win against 4 time world champion Alain Ngalani, Chi stands at the top of the heap as the number 1 contender for the One Championship title in 2015.

Glory also had big plans for Chi and after a magnificent performance in Dubai, Chi was entered into the Glory heavyweight grand prix, where 4 of the top signings in the Heavyweight division would compete in a one night tournament to crown a winner. Although this format of 2 fights in one night was new to Chi, he welcomed the task with open arms and began his training camp at in holland. The tournament was to take place in San diego, and one of the most bitter rivals grew between Xavier Vigney, the 6ft 9″ Heavyweight from California and Chopper Chi Lewis Parry and build up towards this super fight between two guys on opposite ends of the brackets grew day by day, but both had opponents standing in their way before they would get a chance to meet one another. Glory fans were not disappointed as tension grew at the weigh ins and as Chopper Chi was weighing in, Xavier got in his face and a small scuffle broke out, in a matter of minutes, the video went viral and the fans were waiting with baited breath to see if both men defeated their opponents in the first round and would get the chance to face off against each other.  Once again the fans were not disappointed, Xavier was up first with a round 1 tko and Chopper was up next and finished his guy with a round 1 KO.  Although he was a little banged up from the first fight, he wanted to continue to face his bitter rival in the next bout.  The fight was fireworks from the beginning bell, with chi winning the first round with both guys landing good shot.  In the second round chi contiuned to land big shots but visibly began to slow down, his harder fight in round one and the lack of experincing 2 fights in one night took its toll and fatigue set in and he was stopped in round 2.  Chi enjoyed the fight and learnt from the experience and made sure that cardio and conditioning was turn up moving forward.

Fast forward to July 2016 and we have a new and improved Chopper chi.  Having set up cam at the world famous American Kickboxing Academy in March 2016, Chi began training with the ufc Champion Daniel Cormier, along with a who’s who of top level athletes, Cain velasquez, khabib nurmagomedov, luke Rockhold, Mike Kyle and many many more. Chi made San Jose his home and began training out of AKA, they welcomed him with open arms and he was exactly where he should be.  July 2016 was chi next fight for Glory, you could see he was in great shape, and was ready to showcase his new skills.  His opponent this time was a very formidable character in Maurice Greene, a 6ft 7″ 260lbs agile, athletic experienced Kickboxer coming to take chi out and derail the Brit, but this was not to be. Chi showing a calmness never seen before, a new array of skills and lighting quick accuracy, put Maurice down twice in the very first round and KO’d him in the second round and looked spectacular doing so.

Chi was then set to face his nemesis, Xavier Vigney in a rematch, but he pulled out with no reason stated so in stepped Anthony Macdonald, a very experienced American fighter. New Jersey was the setting for this clash and the results was to be the same as all Chi’s other wins, a stunning ko, round 2.

After some thought and taking over K1 for a while, training at AKA re lite a fire in Chi and mma started calling once again and significantly improving his mma skills during his time at aka, it was time to set the world on fire once again. Chi management (Mogul Management) fielded offers from all of the top organisations including bellator and the ufc, who both offered chi contracts to fight under their organisations, the ufc for the 3rd time, the decision was made to sign a deal with BAMMA, the opportunity to headline a card in his home town in one of the most iconic arenas in the world (The Wembley Arena) was just too much to pass up and to add a cherry to the cake, it would be for a world title vs Brett Mcdermott, He couldn’t say no, so the bout was scheduled, Bamma 31 September 15th 2017.  Ultimately as contracts were being signed, The So called champion pulled out, sighting he did not want to fight Chi from advice from his team, so that bout was scrapped and a replacement title fight was book vs the 6ft 9″ Maurice Jackson from Las Vegas.  This is a fight between two big men and it will be fireworks that for sure, cause you never see the Chopper in a boring fight.  MAke sure you tune into Dave TV September 15 2017, you will not want to miss the mma return of Chopper Chi Lewis Parry.

In addition to having a popular face, Chi is an intelligent, well spoken, hard working sportsman and media personality.  He believes it is a gift to have his physical attributes standing 6ft 10″ tall and athletic ability.  He has achieved a lot already in his life and he puts that down to respecting people who have given him the chance to make it to where he is today and the belief in where he will be in the future.  Whether he is doing stunts on movie sets, or competing for MMA or Kickboxing world titles, Chi Lewis-Parry was born to succeed.
